Welcome to Damian's Artwork!
Born in 1968,
Damian was one of five children. Even at a young age, it became apparent
that, like the other members of his family, he had a flair for
artwork that has grown consistently throughout his life.
Influenced by the likes of Frank Frazetta, Boris Vallejo, John Howe and
Ted Nasmith, he spends hour upon hour with pencil in hand,
striving for perfection. He has never been particularly happy
with his work, always finding fault and criticism in every piece
he does, but with maturity comes patience, and nowadays he is
more conscientious about his work than ever, taking great time
over even the smallest detail, occasionally raising a wry smile
of satisfaction at a small success.
Some prints are also available from Paignton Zoo
and are digitalised and reproduced on archive lightfast watercolour paper using the
fine art Giclee printing technique which matches the colours on the prints
exceptionally well to the originals. They are Signed Limited Edition prints.
Damian is a member of the Marwell International Wildlife Art Society
(MIWAS)
This site displays various samples of Damian's work, ranging
